A New Mexico little league team had their tournament championship belt stolen while celebrating over ice cream. The team from Las Cruces, NM was celebrating their victory when their coach’s car was broken into and the belt, along with a purse and camera bag, vanished. SOME PEOPLE SUCK

The discretionary programs in the Department of Education could take a serious hit with proposed budget cuts. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos has proposed cutting $18 million from the budget for Special Olympics. ROUGH DAY

Coaches’ corner

The “walk-up” music a the song that plays as batter walks up to the plate. For some it calms them, others it pumps them up. Texas Rangers (MLB – Major League Baseball) player Elvis Andrus is apparently looking to be the fan favorite (or not) and chose the wildly popular and annoyingly infectious “Baby Shark” as his walk-up song for this season. (Players can change their song during the season). YOU’LL HAVE THAT SONG STUCK IN YOUR HEAD ALL DAY
